Specialist Consultation

Our practice provides comprehensive consultations for a wide range of gastrointestinal conditions. Our gastroenterologist will review your symptoms and medical history, review of any previous investigations or results and perform a physical examination if appropriate. A tailored management plan will then be discussed, which may include further investigations or treatment.

We welcome all referrals, such as:

• Bowel cancer screening and colonic polyp surveillance
• Altered bowel habits
• Gastrointestinal bleeding or per rectal bleeding
• Gastro-oesophageal reflux disease
• Iron deficiency
• Inflammatory bowel disease (Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis)
• Coeliac disease
• Irritable bowel syndrome
• Liver diseases or abnormal liver function tests
• Resistant helicobacter pylori infections

Referral

A referral from your GP or specialist is required for your consultation. Please bring any previous investigations, results or gastroscopy/colonoscopy reports with you to your appointment. Telehealth consultations are also available.
